What airport should I fly into? Access to Los Cabos and its surrounding areas is easy. There is one locally centered main hub – the San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD) and Cabos San Lucas (CSL) Private airport.
What is the exact address of the hotel? We have arrangements with two hotels:

How far are the hotels from the airport?
To Montage – From San Jose del Cabo International (SJD) airport it is it is 38.9 kilometers (24.2 miles) or 35 minutes.
From Cabo San Lucas International (CSL) Airport it is 18.7 kilometers (11.6 miles) or 23 minutes.
To Hacienda del Mar – From San Jose del Cabo International (SJD) airport it is 32 kilometers (20 miles) or 40 minutes.
From Cabo San Lucas International (CSL) Airport it is 16 kilometers (10 miles) or 25 minutes
How far are the hotels from the various venues? Event venues are located close to the hotels. Travel to the various venues should take between 7-13 minutes by car.
What ground transportation options are available? Airport and hotel shuttles, private car and shuttle services are available. Depending on your event package, we may book these on your behalf.
What is the average cost of ground transportation from the airports to the hotels? The cost for private car services is $190+ round trip from the airport depending on the vehicle and other amenities selected. Shared rides and hotel shuttles are a significantly lower cost per person.
When should I plan to arrive for Galway Live! + ARENA? Galway Live! begins Sunday, June 2, with check-in at Montage Cabo and Hacienda del Mar hotels at 4 PM local time.
When should I plan to check out? Departures from Galway Live! should be scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024. If you are staying for Galway ARENA, departures should be scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, with check-out at both hotels by 11 AM local time.
What is the weather like at the time of the event? Average Daily Temperatures range from the low 70s to high 80s throughout the day.
What time zone is Los Cabos in? Mountain Time Zone
Is the event being photographed or videotaped? Photographs will be taken and various segments of Galway Live! and ARENA will be videotaped. Attendees are required to acknowledge this intent via a disclaimer in the registration process.
GALWAY LIVE!
When should I plan to arrive for Galway Live Charity Auction Dinner? The Charity Auction Dinner at Rancho La Huerta, Chileno Bay Club on Sunday, June 2, 2024 will begin at 6:30 PM. Onsite registration begins at 6:00 PM, June 2, 2024.
Which charities will benefit from Galway Live? Four charities will be recipients of the charitable proceeds from Galway Live! Auction. These charities include:
- Alliance for Compassion and Education Development (ACED), EIN # 2942297
- Chileno Bay Foundation, EIN# 84-2784286
- Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, EIN# 20-2882711

How and when will I be expected to pay for my bids? You will be asked to provide a credit card to cover your deposit for your donation or paddle raise at the onsite registration for the Charity Auction Dinner. Based on your paddle number or submission of bids to the silent auction, you will receive an email at the end of the night with a full accounting of your transactions.
How and when will I receive my donation receipt for the auction items? At the end of the night of the Charity Auction, you will receive a summary of all your auction items via email. Within 2 weeks, a follow-up email will be sent to you with the transaction information, including payments charged to your account and donation receipts.
GALWAY ARENA
When should I plan to arrive for Galway ARENA? Onsite Registration for ARENA begins at 8:00 AM.
What meals will be provided throughout the event? Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks will be provided at the ARENA.
Can I bring my spouse to Galway ARENA? Guests are welcome based on the ticket package you have purchased or received. If you are eligible to bring a guest, you will be asked to provide their name via the registration process.
Is there a break planned within the agenda for the ARENA? Due to the impactful content being shared at the event, we want to make the most of our time together. A short break in the program is scheduled for the afternoon. More information on the agenda will be available prior to the event.
What time is the ARENA event expected to conclude? The ARENA is expected to conclude at approximately 4 PM.
